Who should attend the Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference?
All females, ages 8 and up are welcome. There will be sessions specifically geared toward girls, teens and adults. Registration is open to females only.
Can men attend the conference (husbands, significant others etc.)?
The Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference is for females only.
What does the registration fee include?
The registration fee includes your entry into the conference, badge, conference bag w/special gifts, Friday evening reception, Saturday evening banquet and admission to all sessions. Conference registration does not include your hotel stay or travel.
How can I register for the Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference?
Registration can be completed online. Online registration will be available through July 31, 2012. Registrations may also be submitted via US Mail. Registrations submitted through the US Mail must be postmarked no later than July 31, 2012.
Do I have to register to attend the Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference?
Yes. Registration is required.
How much does it cost to register for the Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference?
Adults 18+ $165.00
Youth ages 8-17 $75.00
We may occasionally run sales on registration fees. Discount prices are only valid during the published time and may not be applied to previous registrations. Discount rates are not honored after a sale has ended.
What and where is the host hotel?
The host hotel is the Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center, 7120 Dallas Parkway, Plano, TX, 75024. For more information call (972) 473-4220. Be sure to request TWEC's special rate of $142 per night (with a 4 adult maximum occupancy per suite or a 6 adult & children maximum occupancy per suite). Space is limited! Space is limited!
How much does it cost to stay at the host hotel, and how do I make a reservation?
Call (972) 473-4220. Be sure to request TWEC’s special rate of $142 per night (with a 4 adult maximum occupancy per suite or a 6 adult & children maximum occupancy per suite). Rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to availability.
Does the registration fee include any meals?
Registration fees include two receptions (one to include a meal), as well as the banquet. All remaining meals are at your own expense.
Will there be Transportation?

Are spa treatments included in the registration fee?
No. Spa treatments are a-la-carte. You may reserve your spa treatment by calling (972) 473-4220.
Do you allow vendors at the conference?

What is your cancellation policy for registration?
No refunds will be provided.
Is there a Dress Code?
Attire for the Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference is business casual or casual. Banquet attire is formal. Attendees are encouraged to wear ebony & ivory (black and white) for 2012 Conference.
How will the attendees know where to go?
Upon your arrival, the Hospitality Committee will assist you throughout the conference.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
You will receive an immediate confirmation letter after your online registration has been completed. Please print this confirmation for your records. Those without internet access will be contacted via US Mail. Confirmations for multiple registrations may be received at different times.
